SCT Store
We provide a upcycling service for all kinds of educational items in our CK community. By reusing previously-owned textbooks and other educational materials, we aim to make learning more accessible for everyone. This also helps to reduce waste by giving used items a second life and preventing them from ending up in landfills. Any profits from the store are used to acquire more educational resources.
Donation Program
We kindly request donations of any new or used educational items (books, school supplies, CK spirit wear, athletic items) to help us expand our offerings and make education more affordable for all. Any donation will be used to purchase new educational materials or to supplement our existing inventory of previously-owned items. This will help us to continue providing affordable resources to students while reducing wastefulness.
Environmental Impact Study 2025-26
As part of our commitment to sustainability, Students Community Table is conducting an environmental impact study of our student bookstore for the 2025–26 academic year. By tracking the number of textbooks reused, estimating paper, carbon, and energy savings, and comparing against new book purchases, we aim to quantify how peer-to-peer reuse reduces waste and environmental harm.
